Tekin KUCUKNALBANT

He started mountaineering in 1975 as a member of Kayseri Mountaineering Club. He was born in Kayseri in 1958 and is a student of Dr. Bozkurt Ergör, the founder of Kayseri Mountaineering Club and Turkish Mountaineering Federation. Since 1979 he trained many mountaineers while he was a board member of the Turkish Mountaineering Federation and Kayseri Mountaineering Club. He was assigned as Mountain Guide for all the Mountains of Turkey in 1980. He guided many foreign mountaineer groups on their climbing in winter and summer and tour skiing.
In 1986 he made a solo climb to a no name peak of 3860 m on a tough glacier on the south of Kackar summit and named it Sonmez Tepe. In February 1987 he made another solo climb with tour ski to 3461 m Guzeller Peak in Taurus Mountains. In his mountaineering career he made climbs to Alp Mountains in Europe, in Washington/Seattle, also in Iran Mountains.
He had several exhibitions (4 in Kayseri , 3 in other cities of Turkey and one in Germany) where he exposed the photos he took on the mountains of Turkey. He also arranged several slide shows.
